Maya Negri

Designer Maya Negri, a graduate of the Shenkar College of Engineering and design, established her self-titled brand a year after she graduated. In the coming years, she launched dozens of collections, opened five stores nationwide and branched out to the global scene.

Maya Negri allows every woman to portray strength, power and femininity without compromising comfort or an up-to date chic and elegance throughout the day. Since her early days in the fashion scene, Maya Negri recognized a need for high-end quality that is an inseparable part from garments celebrating the female figure. In accordance with this approach, Maya Negri succeeded in catering the needs of her vast and varied cliental; currently comprised of media, culture and business women throughout the world. For Maya Negri, her loyal customers are an inherent part of her brand and they're needs are the focal point of her activities.

 

Maya Negri allows the travel experience to play an active role in her collections. Lodging and staying outside the domestic comfort zone is an integral part of contemporary woman day-to-day lives. The clothes we wear play a part in this complex way of living.  When we wear a garment, the garment hosts us. And so, we need to feel as comfortable as possible in our apparel.

Maya Negri sees her fashion trade as an additional layer of her comprehensive attitude toward life. Extreme sport, world travel, music and culture are her inspiration. In high school, Maya was Israel's champion in athletics; she and her family frequently embark on scuba diving and sky diving journeys and she practice Iyengar yoga for over ten years – both as a student and as a teacher.
